A couple of minutes ago I got back from the Boulder Vitamin Cottage. Since today was bike to work day, I went to Vitamin Cottage and handed out free full sized samples. Not only was the weather perfect, but it was a terrific turnout too. Steve, the receiving manager at Vitamin Cottage was keeping track of how many people were there and they had over 600 people.
As mentioned in a previous blog post, Simply Boulder Culinary Sauces had over 500 bottles at the event to give away. Most people that we talked to took a bottle, so we ended up giving over 400 bottles away. In addition to us giving away about 400 bottles, I think Honest Tea gave about 400 bottles away too. Their booth was right next to mine and it seems like they had about 100 bottles left over at the end of the event too.
Speaking of Honest Tea, I’ve tried their products for the first time and I really like them. During the event I was drinking an Agave Mate tea. As you can tell from the name it’s sweetened with agave nectar just like Simply Boulder Culinary Sauces.
As a note the above picture was taken at the very beginning of the event. It got extremely crowded about 15 minutes after I took that picture. I figured I’d take a picture while I had the chance to step away from my table.
